This was are first experience at this restaurant. The server was really nice and helpful. We ordered the chicken ramen bowl that was a 7/10, California roll that was a 9/10 definitely recommend. Next we got the shrimp yakysoba and that was a 10/10. Then we got the fried crab roll that was a 10/10. This is by far the best Japanese restaurant I have been to so far. I would highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area. Also, the restaurant has a nice patio seating area

This place has a loaded menu that covers all the bases for sushi, Japanese apps, and ramen. I just grabbed takeout one night and didn't dive too deeply into the menu. The rainbow roll and shumai were both good quality 7 out of 10 dishes for me. My only complaint was that the roll wasn't cut very well, so it was falling apart. I'd be willing to come back and try more; I've heard others speak highly of their ramen.

We chose Kozue Sushi & Ramen largely out of necessity and timing. We were staying at The Hotel Rambler as a winter storm rolled in, eventually dumping more than six inches of snow and shutting much of the area down. I called ahead to make sure they were still open, and they confirmed they’d be serving at least until 8 p.m. The fact that it was within walking distance made the decision easy. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, even with the weather turning ugly. That part of the experience stood out. The food itself was solid, but not exceptional. The ramen noodles were exactly what you’d expect from a competent ramen shop—good broth, decent texture, nothing disappointing. Where things fell short were the protein-forward dishes. The chicken wings were overcooked to the point of being uncomfortably hard, and the teriyaki steak, while well-seasoned, was tough from overcooking. Overall, Kozue is a dependable option for convenience and warmth on a cold night, but not a place I’d go out of my way to visit.

I think the sushi here is great and the drinks are also excellent. The menu has a wife selection beyond sushi, and it seems there is something for everyone here. Great food and service. It is a small place and can be busy, but great choice overall.
